WE BREATHE LIFE INTO A GARDEN, TRANSFORMING A CONFINED SPACE INTO AN ORGANIC OASIS

The patio presented itself as dark and unkempt, and the challenge was to transform it into a garden that would take advantage of every square meter to meet the needs of the family members while promoting the connection with nature.

Privacy was a concern, given the presence of neighbors with direct views of the property. We set out to create an appealing space where nature was visible but not the activities occurring within it.

Drawing upon the site’s inherent strengths. We highlighted the high walls, covering them with natural covering and hanging vegetation. The garden was filled with a profusion of shrubs and plants strategically positioned to create intimate alcoves.

The unique construction of the pool at ground level allowed us to seamlessly integrate landscaping. We included a half-century-old olive tree, fulfilling the client’s dream. For the walls, we proposed a composition of gabions with still life: trunks of Platanus hispanica from the Barcelona area, volcanic mineral stone, and a third one with living vegetation.

The furniture proposal consisted of noble materials with very low carbon footprint emissions, featuring clean and sober lines.
