QUALITY OF THE WORKSPACE

NEW GARDEN FOR THE LA SALLE CAMPUS RESEARCH CENTER (RAMON LLULL UNIVERSITY)

We crafted a green, aesthetically pleasing, contemplative and participatory space, akin to a “Peripatetic Garden”, where the focus is on the viewpoint from the building itself towards the outside. We emphasized the use of water features and lush vegetation, incorporating uncommon plant species, characterized by large leaves typical of humid and shaded systems.

The outcome is a serene garden, offering a visual and an auditory breather, enhancing the workplace ambiance, and serving as a retreat for rest, gatherings, and professional synergy.

AWe took advantage of a very particular vertical space to generate a new area of vegetation and indoor-outdoor uses.

We suggested leaving the building’s foundations visible, which creates the impression of palm tree trunks and has become the characteristic feature of the new space.

The chosen species are adapted to conditions of humidity, indirect light, and high altitude. We planted large specimens such as Strelitzia sp, Monstera sp, Alocasia sp, and Gunnera sp, which contrast with ferns and particular species like Acanthus mollis, and Equisetum hyemale.

“VERVEINE has conducted rigorous research, and this is reflected in the quality of the outcome”.
